Wanda has received recognition as a Minority Business Leader by the Dallas Business Journal for exhibiting strong commitment and leadership to the minority business community.
Wanda also received the Hispanic Business Salute Award for her leadership by Telemundo 39.
Wanda is a Past Chairman for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has also been the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
She has also served as a board member for Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce, board member for VisitDallas, Girls Scouts of North Texas, and is a member of Hispanic 100. She has supported the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council for several years and has served as Chair for the Professional Services Industry Group.
Wanda has been involved in numerous volunteer activities throughout the North Texas area over the years, and she has been instrumental in building a philanthropy program for BridgeWork Partners, which allows employees to dedicate volunteer hours to designated social and civic causes.
Wanda is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and attended Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire, “Building a High-Performing Minority Company.”
